Alberta Timber Wolf

The timber wolf, also known as the gray wolf (Canis lupus), is a prominent predator in Alberta. They are found in the province's forested areas and are known for their social behavior, living in packs with distinct territories. Alberta is known to have a healthy wolf population, with an estimated 3,500 individuals.

Alberta welcomes you to hunt for Timber Wolves (“Canus Lupus”).

Experience the challenge of hunting wolves in the foothills of western Alberta. We have experienced this hunt with 100% opportunity. Hunting is done in strategically placed blinds and bait in prime wolf habitat. Your day will be still hunting in heated blinds during the winter months. You will be hunting active blinds where wolves are currently visiting.

Long shooting rifles are a definite advantage but typical shots would be 250+ yards.

After arrival in Edmonton or Calgary, you can rent car to drive to hunting area or we can arrange pick up for you.
