Hunting Methods

The majority of the hunting is done on horseback. They have a string of reliable horses, well adapted to the mountainous terrain. Each hunter is accompanied by a guide who is skilled at stalking game, handling horses and caring for trophies. All hunts are one on one unless otherwise requested.

In most cases, the hunters and guides operate from spike camps away from the base camp. This is accomplished easy by sturdy horses equipped with the best of saddles and pack gear; allowing the hunter to cover more ground and increasing his chances of collecting a trophy animal.

Canadian Moose

Canadian Moose is abundant in this part of the world. Our moose average in the 50" class and the success rate is 95% and above.

Elk — One of the best areas to hunt trophy elk during the bugle season, our outfitter’s elk population is continuing to increase and trophy quality is excellent. Only 6x6 or better bulls are harvested with an average score of 300 Boone and Crockett points.

Rocky Mountain Goat are abundant in our British Columbia area. We can boast of 100% success with these species for the last three years.

Mountain Caribou is hunted in August and September. These majestic animals are the largest species of Caribou—with Boone & Crockett Caribou harvested each year.
