Greenland is the worlds largest island and an exciting destination for all adventure hunters. Our outfitter offers both Caribou and Musk Ox hunting with accommodation in its all-inclusive camp located in the South of Greenland.

The professional staff and guides will look after you from the start of your journey to the end so you will have the adventure of a lifetime. We welcome non-hunters at our camp and can arrange various excursion for them. There are excellent hiking routes, sightseeing options, glacier trips, fishing for Arctic char, sea angling for cod and many more. The camp is located in South West Greenland, a 3 hour boat ride from Narsarsuaq, or 30 minutes by helicopter.

Musk Ox

The best-known game of Greenland is the indigenous Greenland Musk Ox sometimes called White-faced Musk Ox or Umingmak by the Inuits, meaning the bearded one.

These seemingly huge animals with long haired, thick and dark brown to black coats have impressive trophies with a high scarcity value. Hunting this ancient game species in the rough but fascinating landscape of Greenland is an experience that enthuses every hunter.

Mature bulls stand from 110 cm to 150 cm high at the shoulder and weigh between 300 kg and 400 kg. Horns of mature bulls reach lengths of 50 cm to 65 cm. Musk Ox are hard to bring down and hunters are advised to use calibers from 30-06 and larger with heavy bullets.

Caribou

In South Greenland, the main trophy, along with Musk Ox, is wild caribou. Caribou are of great importance to the Inuit as a source of meat, but also play a role in their history, culture, and traditions. They can vary considerably in size, with females weighing up to 90 kg (198 lb) and male bull 150 kg (331 lb).

Caribou hunting is a challenging experience involving great personal reward. Hunters can choose from various calibers to hunt Caribou though the minimum caliber is .243. Bow hunting is allowed in Greenland.
